Age & Content Suitability
Effective 2026-07-22. This page summarizes who hankerchf is for and how we keep it that way. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. hankerchf is for adults — 18+
hankerchf is a social and dating app for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. There are no exceptions, regardless of the age of majority in your jurisdiction. The app is rated for adults on the App Store and Google Play and is not directed at, or intended for, anyone under 18.
2. How we keep minors out
- Age attestation at signup. Every account must provide a date of birth confirming the account holder is 18 or older. Accounts that cannot are not created.
- Platform age signals. Where the operating system supports it, we participate in the platform age-assurance programs — Apple’s Declared Age Range and Google Play’s age signals — to help confirm that account holders are adults. When a platform indicates the account holder is under 18, the account is removed. These signals supplement, and never replace, our own checks.
- Immediate removal. Any account we identify as belonging to a minor is removed immediately. This is not a suspension — underage accounts are banned.
- Anti-evasion measures. We use account and device integrity controls (including phone verification) to make it harder for removed users to return under a new identity.
- Reporting. If you believe an account belongs to someone under 18, report it in the app or email [email protected]. Reports of this kind are prioritized.
3. Public areas must stay free of explicit content
Public areas of hankerchf — profile photos visible on the grid, public profile details, and local group chats — must be free of sexually explicit content. Our Terms prohibit explicit material in any public surface. As explained in our Terms, we do not actively monitor user content before it is posted; instead, we rely on in-app reporting, and we may remove content or take action against an account when we become aware of a violation. We are not obliged to remove any particular content or to act on any particular report.
4. Private sharing — a plain-language caution
Some features allow adults to share photos or videos privately with people they choose, under the consent and revocation controls described in our Terms. We work hard to protect your privacy: private media is access-controlled, sharing is explicit and revocable, and we notify you of events like screenshots where the platform allows.
But no technology makes sharing risk-free. Anything you send can be captured by the person you send it to. Our plain advice: do not share any photo or video that you would not be comfortable sharing on a public forum. Treat every share as potentially permanent, and use the in-app tools — revocation, blocking, and reporting — the moment something feels wrong.
5. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material
hankerchf has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material or the sexualization of minors in any form, in any part of the service, public or private. We use automated detection on uploaded media, we remove violating content and accounts immediately, and we cooperate with law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law.
